Music Teacher and Music Therapist - Justin Sant


Justin Sant is a recent transplant to Atlanta moving here from Brooklyn NY in 2017. He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, which he attended after winning a scholarship , holds a certificate as a luthier from Atlanta Guitar Works, and is certified in level 1 of the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery & Music. Justin also recently completed a masters degree in Music Psychotherapy from New York University and is a board certified music therapist.

Justin has performed everywhere from the hallowed halls of Carnegie Hall to punk rock dive bars in NYC and in his limited free time builds guitars.

Along with having taught guitar lessons for over a decade, Justin has spent many years using music therapy to work with a variety of populations including incarcerated teens, adults & children with intellectual and developmental delays, and patients in detox & acute psychiatric units. Justin comes to Storyboard Studios after spending two years at the Manhattan VA where he created a guitar program that combined guitar lessons and psychotherapy to help Veterans work through various mental health struggles, most notably PTSD.

Justin loves teaching guitar students of all kinds. From people learning their first chord, to people wanting to learn Yngwie Malmsteen solos.

Burroughs.
